Woman Dies After Domestic Incident In Maryland, Police Say (Developing)

A death investigation was launched in Prince George's County following a domestic incident that was reported on Monday morning.

Police say that at around 11:50 a.m. on Monday, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the 3300 block of Curtis Drive to investigate a domestic-related call, authorities say.

Inside the home, officers found a woman - whose ID has not been released - suffering from trauma to the body and she was rushed to an area hospital, where she died on Monday afternoon.

According to investigators, the incident is not believed to have been a random crime, though no motive or suspects have been identified by the department.
